In a statement, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the airstrike hit a civilian area, adding that even a children’s railway was located near the blast site.

“This has no military purpose whatsoever. It’s pure terrorism,” said Zelenskyy, emphasizing that such attacks have continued throughout the full-scale war for over three years.

Zelenskyy called for the international community not to ignore the repeated assaults, urging tougher measures to ensure peace. “Every day we lose our people simply because Russia feels impunity. There must be a tough enforcement of peace on Russia.” he said.
